13QUALIFICATIONS

 

13.1Qualifications and Experience:

 

This work requires an experienced trainer and quality assurance specialist working in education and training in order to provide additional capacity to the NCI Academy Quality Assurance Group.

 

1. Experience giving feedback and coaching instructors (Minimum 2 years of

 

experience).

 

2. Experience in course design and curriculum development including

 

instructional analysis and documentation of performance standards (Minimum

 

3 years of experience).

 

3. Certification as a trainer of instructors and/or professional teacher training.

 

4. Ability to perform both onsite and remote QA activities.

 

5. Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.

 

6. Capability to accept demand-based requests at the required frequency (80% of

 

requests).

 

7. Fluent in English and must be able to read and write technical and user

 

documentation, as mentioned in paragraph 13.3.

 

13.2Desirable qualifications and experience

 

1. Previous experience as an NCI Academy instructor is highly desirable.

 

2. Knowledge and experience of working with NCI Agency.

 

3. Knowledge and experience of working with the NCI Academy.

 

4. NATO CIS Technical Instructor or equivalent qualification.

 

5. NATO Systems Approach to training or equivalent qualification.

 

6. Knowledge of modern education technologies (e.g. electronic whiteboards,

 

training videos) and authoring tools.

 

7. Experience with development of technical documentation, training materials

 

and instructional aids.

 

8. Experience working in an International environment with Military and Civilian

 

elements.

 

13.3Language Proficiency

 

Level 3 English language skills according to NATO STANAG 6001: Listening (4); Speaking (4); Reading (3); and Writing (3) or according to Common European Framework of Reference for Language level B2-C1/Upper Intermediate-Advanced level).
